Magisto is a web application and mobile app (available on iOS and Android) that provides an automatic video editing service for amateurs. According to their website, Magisto's goal is to solve the problem of video editing being too complicated and time-consuming by letting users edit their videos with just a click. I put together a few Magisto videos using the mobile app, and it was very easy to do.
The free version of Magisto allows you to utilize many of the features. However, there is a paid version, as well. For $4.99/month, $14.99/year, or a $.99 single move download, you get these additional benefits:
- Unlimited cloud storage for your videos (Free version: 5GB)
- Unlimited SD downloads (Free version: $1.00 per movie)
- Upload 30 clips to create a movie (Free version: 10 per movie)
- Create longer videos/movies (Free version: 1/2 the length)
- Upload 30 photos per video/movie (Free version: 10 per movie)
Magisto was also included in Google's list of Best Apps of 2013.
