Overall, the Internet has surpassed every other resource in terms of consumer adoption. Today, more than 1.3 billion people worldwide over the age of 16 are connecting to the Internet through wired and wireless connections. This new form of communication is used for everything and accounts for about 25% of consumer media consumption time.
